My good friend and hunting partner Brad Parrish and his sons came up to Austin for the holiday and we got out hunting early this morning while the women went shopping.. :-) We were invited to hunt by Mr. Douglas Mason, near Columbus, TX. Brad didn't have his dogs with him, so we just used mine. We got on this 140 pound sow about 35 minutes into the hunt - my mountain curr b###h "tweety bird" started her, and then she ran a bit, at one point she doubled back onto her track and sent our boys scurrying around looking for a tree to climb! At one point we were closer than the dogs were.. but they got her stopped, and we caught and tied her. We got a second bay going later, but the it was too far off, and by the we got there it had broken.. Oh, because we'd gotten on some big groups and got wanted more catch power in the past we decided to bring two of my AB catch dogs, the big male Buster is in one of the pics with 2 of my sons, and Ruby is the smaller female I've posted pics of before. We all had a great time, thank you Mr. Mason! Hope everyone had a safe and happy thanksgiving... Tim PS - note this is a repost from the main section of this board to the "what's your story section" want to have 1 place we can point people to for all the good stories for prosperity's sake ;-) www.inmanbulldogs.com/tg-hunt-montage.jpg[/img]
